Apple Pie Energy Balls



Apple pie is delicious in any form. Cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves combine together in a delicious medley, each bite full of sweet apple and delicious crunch.


Did I mention it's healthy?


When you combine naturally sweet dates, delicious local honey, and some homemade apple butter, you have yourself a sweet treat that will fuel you up and satisfy your sweet tooth all in one bite.


Give them a try!


To make:

  • 1/2 c. almonds

  • 1/4 c. walnuts

  • 3/4 c. pitted dates

  • 3 T. chia seeds

  • 3 T. apple butter

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp. cloves

  • 1/4 tsp. ginger

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender.

  2. Blend until the mixture begins to come together. Typically the ingredients will stick together, forming a ball.

  3. Roll tablespoon-sized scoops into balls.
