1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. almond flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. almonds, sliced thinly
2 c. peeled apples, diced
Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare a loaf pan, spraying the sides and placing a square of parchment paper on the bottom.
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Beat together the butter and sugars until the mixture is light and fluffy, about two minutes.
Mix in the eggs, one at a time, making sure each egg is well-mixed before adding the next.
Add in the milk and almond extract.
Mix the dry ingredients with the wet, adding the dry ingredients in batches.
Fold in the almonds and peeled apples.
